Gay Jensen invites you to
take a close look at a
featured artwork:
“Lifted by the Light.”
Gay created this art quilt
after a trip to Hawaii
where she was fortunate
to capture with her
camera an image of an
egret as it raised its
great wings and lifted
off heading towards an
unknown destination.
“Lifted by the Light” was
exhibited in the juried
Contemporary QuiltArt
Association show in the
Snohomish Arts Council
Gallery in 2009, the
“On the Surface: Passions
We Can’t Hide” show at
the Phinney Center Gallery
in 2010, and at the
“Natural Progressions” show
at the Northwest Craft
Center in 2010.  It is now
in the collection of Earl
and Natalie Olsen.
